Our Practice
Q Street Medical Associates (Also known as QStreetmds) was Established in 2014, however the practice has been known by a couple names The Caceres Health Group, Cesar A Caceres Inc., and Qstreetmds.com, and was started in 1970, by Dr. Cesar A. Caceres.
Since its inception, the office has operated based on the premise that , “Society’s goal must be to avoid treating people for illness and to keep them out of the hospital. The only hope we have of doing this is to detect incipient illness. By emphasizing predictive and preventive care, physicians can reduce the amount of crisis care,” [1] Dr. Caceres told Medical Economics reporters in 1970. The article “Catching On: Complete Physicals without M.D.’s” described the Multitest Facility which Dr. Caceres organized at the George Washington University Medical Center in 1969. Dr. Ang joined the practice in 2004 and then purchased the practice in January 2014, when Dr. Caceres retired, and continues practicing in this traditon.
Therefore, it is our established policy to perform comprehensive laboratory work to assess general health, identify at the earliest point any medical problems or trends toward potential problems, and to proceed with treatment as needed. Our office is unique in that we have a laboratory that has been in service since 1974. We also have been treating patients for HIV since the 80’s when the epidemic began.
