Flu Season

The Flu season will begin in September-October 2007.

Due to “Bird Flu” it might be more important in 2007 to take the vaccine than in other years. We will follow up and keep you posted on our website if that is the case.  Also ask the Doctor about the Pneumonia vaccine, and if you are traveling you may be helped by an injection of gamma globulin. Ask also about the need for Hepatitis A and B vaccination and if you might need it.

Flu Vaccinations should be administered if:

You are over 65, or
you are pregnant, or
if you have chronic disease,
if you are immune system suppressed,
and are not allergic to eggs.

We hope, but cannot guarantee, to have enough for everyone that wants to have the vaccination. So plan now.
